Working as part of a small development team constructing a toolkit and supporting method for building and managing investment business cases. Hand-on responsibility for developing and documenting the product and managing the development of a prototype using an access database, html front end developed with Dreamweaver and back end XML interfaces.

Project Manager (implementation)
Broadvision E-commerce web site, SAP ERP, Business Objects v5, MsProject, Visio, UML, Test Director, Office suite.

Managed the implementation of a major business change project into the Finance department of MFL. The project - Vehicle Remarketing - introduced a sales organisation and e-commerce B2B sales channel to the company. Major activities included implementation planning, process re-engineering, user acceptance testing and implementation of major new system functionality to support:
- Dealer sales process
- DD collections and aged debt recovery
- Customer tracing and asset recovery processes
- KPI reporting capabilities
Extensive use was made of MsProject for planning purposes and Visio using UML standards for process design and use case documentation. My day to day responsibilities included establishing and managing an implementation team made up of key users, facilitating process modelling and user acceptance test planning workshops, working with other department to resolve cross functional process and policy issues, documentation and/or review of IT requirements and general liaison with the IT department and providing regular reporting and issue escalation to the IT and Finance directors.

A major internet based job advertising and career planning service operating in 14 countries across Europe and Scandinavia. Managed a small team of business analysts to implement a customised multi organisation Siebel CRM application. Core activities included defining a standardised implementation process, including integration with the local website, language configuration, customisation of organisation structure and assignment rules, data migration from legacy systems, business process assimilation, training and country acceptance testing. Worked closely with each country Managing Director to:
· Establish the local business implementation team
· Educate them in the implementation process
· Work with them to understand and agree actions to address local process and organisational issues
· Define requirements and liase with the technical configuration team.
· Define an implementation plan
· Support the implementation process.

August 1998 to April 2000 COLT Telecom, Project Manager
Order Management and Provisioning Systems, , EIS reporting / Service Delivery System (SDS) Template software, Oracle DB, Remedy, Gentia reporting tool

Initially responsible for managing the development of an EIS Billing application to provide revenue reporting from both end user and interconnect billing applications. This application was customised and rolled out across a number COLT's European offices including UK, Germany, and France.

Secondly responsible for managing the rollout of a major legacy system enhancement to the Remedy based legacy Order Handling System.

Final assignment at COLT was to support the Service Delivery System (SDS) programme manager providing planning and implementation support across all COLT's European businesses (nine countries). SDS provided functionality to support all aspects of circuit provisioning from new building survey and installation to switch activation and testing. This involved analysing configuration, and data migration requirements and assessing process and organisational impact. The role involved managing a small team to conduct technical installation, plan and facilitate user acceptance testing and provide data migration and implementation support.
