PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

Whilst Project Management is a generic skill which can, in theory, be applied across industries, there can be no better resource than one who has an in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of a particular market sector.

G.A.W. Associates staff are all mature individuals with extensive experience in Information Technology, Systems Integration, Mainframe / Client Server / PC (hardware / applications packages) and voice / data communications. Our market sector experience covers utilities, PTT's, financial services, retail, transport, health, education and defence.

We have been responsible for:

  • Defining the management strategy for migrating customer care legacy systems for UK Telco

  • Planning, procurement, implementation and support of the world-wide voice and data network for a major league computer manufacturer
     
  • Technical architecture design and implementation of over 50 X.400 ('88) & X.500 ('93) Message Handling Systems on both fault tolerant and departmental server hardware for international corporations and European PTT's
     
  • Consortium creation and subsequent management to provide a data messaging infrastructure for the European Commission and Small / Medium Enterprises
     
  • Centrex design, planning and installation for an international broadcasting corporation
     
  • Network design, planning and implementation for defence organisations
     
  • Hardware and services roll-out for POS and EFT in a major retailers
     
  • Facilities management / outsourcing specification, procurement and supply management
     
  • Company acquisition investigation, due diligence process management and documentation
     
  • Proposal production and ITT creation for many academic and commercial organisations
     
  • Project management process definition, documentation and training
