The Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company SAOC was founded and registered as a company in Oman in 2004. The company was awarded Oman's second GSM licence in October 2004. In March 2005, it launched Nawras as the second mobile operator in Oman. Nawras is a joint venture between Qatar’s Qtel, European telecommunications company TDC and several prominent Omani partners.

 

GAWA provided the Bid Manager to

Makedonskii Telekomunikacii

The PTT of Macedonia is planning to implement a new billing system and the following are under consideration - GENEVA (from Convergys UK ), Accenture (Italy) as systems integrators and HP Openet (Italy) for mediation. MT is partly government owned with Matav (Hungarian Telco) and Deutche Telecom (Germany) having major shares.

GAWA is providing strategic consultancy in Skopje to negotiate contracts, ongoing project management and PRINCEII training for all project staff.

Mobikom Bulgaria (Sofia)

Mobikom is Bulgaria’s primary mobile operator.

GAWA first provided procurement consultancy (authoring of an ITT to procure a new billing system) to Mobikom over 6 years ago. Subsequently we were asked to advise on supplier management (SEMA) and recovery of a struggling upgrade project. We provided ongoing project management ( 1 year) and introduction of the PRINCEII methodology.

West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust

 

 

The Trust is a new organisation which was created on 1 April 2000. It provides health care for the people of West Hertfordshire on four sites: Hemel Hempstead Mount Vernon, St Albans City and Watford General Hospitals.

GAWA were contracted via open tender to perform a network and facilities audit to propose upgrades and improvements - a roadmap and plan to achieve compliance with the Electronic Patient Record objectives.
