Home Sweet Home

Left Dubai early on Wednesday morning and arrived home late afternoon. Since then I have been mostly sleeping and recovering from the illness (whatever it was) plus dining out with Dee and seeing the grandkids. Took these photos on my way to the airport. Should be back in Walton either later tonight or first thing Sunday morning (nice to be back to conventional weekends).

Universities in Dubai

There are lots of them. This one (photo from back entrance of the BT building in media City) obviously has Aussie connections but one just down the road is "The University of Bradford"

This is my last full day in Dubai on the project. I have to hang around the hotel until about 22:00 tonight then off to the airport to catch a 2am flight to Istanbul where, a 6 hour wait before the final leg to Stansted. It will be good to be home.
